The WOSC Regatta is an open event which will take place over two days, from Saturday 8 June to Sunday 9 June.
This is a celebration to which all club members are warmly invited. Please come and join us for racing, social sailing, swimming or simply socialising.
There are three General Handicap races scheduled on each day at 12:00, 14:00 and 15:30; each race will last around an hour. There are separate prizes for each day of racing (2 to count out of 3). In order to win the Regatta Cup, you will need to sail on both days (5 to count out of 6).
The bar will be open after racing on Saturday afternoon, and subsidised freshly-made pizzas (with vegan and vegetarian options) will be available to purchase. There will be disco music in the clubhouse and club members are invited to camp on Saturday evening to make the most of the entertainment.
In order for us to have enough food for everyone, could you please register and indicate how many pizzas (at £5 each) you would like to reserve for Saturday evening. We need to know numbers by 4 June. You only need to pay for your pizzas on the day, not when you reserve them.
On the day please buy your pizza ticket from Jenna at the bar, she will have a list of people who have booked.
Please note that there is no galley at lunch time on Saturday, so please bring remember to bring your own lunch. There will be galley as usual on Sunday, when the first race of the day finishes at around 13:00.
