Solo Open 2013

West Oxfordshire Sailing Club (WOSC) will be holding its Solo Open on Saturday 6th July 2013. The water at WOSC is a flooded gravel pit some 1000 m long by 300 m wide providing close racing enlivened by shifty winds.

Registration will be possible from 9:30 on Saturday morning. The fee for entering the open meeting will be £10/boat including lunch and tea/cakes after racing. Lunch and cakes can be purchased for £2.50 for non-sailing visitors.

The first race will start at 11:00. After lunch there will two back to back races starting at approximately 13:00. Each race will last approximately 1 hour and tea and cakes will be available from the galley after racing. The galley will also be open before the first race for tea/coffee.

Prize giving will take place at 15:45. Results will be based on the best two results out of the three possible races and are part of the Thames Valley Traveller series.
